It's July... already?

It feels like yesterday was Christmas but to my surprise its a billion degrees and clearly July here in Florida! The summer months are brutal down here, humidity can seriously take your breath away and ruin any hope of a good hair day but there is something sweet about the week of the Fourth of July. Growing up this was always one of my favorite holidays regardless of the high temperatures, there is just something about fireworks and a BBQ that makes summertime blissful.  Chris and I are still debating whether we should spend the holiday at home or head to Alabama to be with his family like we did last year, we had such an amazing time!
