Dear Mom

Today I read a post from a lady who lost her mom & I couldn't help but think of you. I sat at my desk (at work) and cried (im hormonal, I cant help it.) I am so blessed that I have had you for 23 years. Although, I do not fully understand your pain & I hope I never have to.. my heart aches for that hole in your heart. I do not know much about death, but I do not think people ever stop grieving.

I love when you talk about your mom, I know it's not always easy, but I Iove hearing about her, getting to know her through your eyes. Mom, I  know her beyond your words and stories. Because I know her in your touch, in your love for the Lord, through your hard work, in all of your mothering ways, I know your mom. I am sure when I have children they will know you past your spoiling ways because they will know you through me. I believe we take our parents with us into adulthood  into forever-hood. And mom, I am eternally blessed and grateful that you are the woman standing next to me, guiding me, talking me through the best and worst times and loving me whole heartedly. I would be lost without you. Thank you for all that you do. I do not think I tell you enough how dear you are to me.

I  know you need her, I dont think that'll ever go away, needing your mom. I know this because, I'll always need you.

Mom, I love you forever.
