Every Day is New and I Like That

My mom is young, 46. She suffers from Adenomyosis. She didn't realize she had this disease until a few weeks ago. Symptoms have been present for the past year but she was unaware that this disease was present in her body.  She had a hysterectomy today and a biopsy on her ovary, there was a large mass. I say this confidently: We serve a gracious and great God. The surgery went smoothly and the mass was benign. We are such an undeserving and selfish people but God loves us past all of that. He answers prayers and no problem is too big for God. Boy, there is some solid comfort in that.

This year has been tough, I mean one of the roughest years in my life thus far. Saying this makes a bit shameful because compared to others my problems and trials seem trivial. Nonetheless, they have been real and present. At the end of each day I find comfort in my trials and triumphs. I have so much to be thankful for, and today as I rushed around stressed beyond belief, God revealed his goodness.

I am truly astonished on a daily basis by the love my Savior has for me.

  1. I am glad to hear your mom is ok! That would frighten me, but it is wonderful to hear how your faith is carrying you.
