TWENTYFOUR

At the risk of sounding cliché, it feels like yesterday I was shaking behind the wheel getting my driver’s license. Sixteen really doesn’t seem like that long ago. But here I am with my very own family, house, car payment and full-time job. Adulthood arrived without asking permission and on most days it’s better than I ever dreamed. I must say I learned a lot this past year, mostly about myself. Trials I never expected and blessings that literally took my breath away have allowed me to examine myself and grow. The path to twenty-four wasn’t perfect but it was exactly what I needed. I know I am where God wants me to be and I must say that’s an incredible feeling.
